Taurus Stampings Inc. has the expertise to handle difficult forms in a wide variety of metals and gauges. We are currently processing hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, bar stock, stainless steel, brass and aluminum. Low volume requirements are often processed in a series of individual operations. This tends to keep tooling costs low but increases the part cost. Larger volume requirements often incorporate blanking, forming, punching and trimming in one progressive die where each stroke of the press produces a completed part. Tool and die costs for this type of operation are typically greater but the part cost can be significantly reduced.
